Property of the Klingon Empire

Some time today, Felix Malmenbeck aka loghaD mentioned a Klingon T-shirt on Facebook. It contains some Klingon words written in Discovery pIqaD, whose meaning we do not know. At this point it is not clear whether these are typos or really unknown/new words. What wonders me most is that one of the words uses a known suffix, so maybe it's not just a random thing. On top of the shirt, it says {ngItlh 47} - whatever that may mean. Maybe it's just English with Klingon letters, so that might be "fix 47"? The other word is {ngISwI'}. Looks Klingon, but is not. It's combined with the letter 12. Oh, and there is one phrase that causes no trouble and is actually translated pretty well: "Property of the Klingon Empire" is correctly translated as {tlhIngan wo' luch} "equipment of the Klingon Empire". This phrase also appeared (with the same design) on the packing of Eaglemoss' Bird of Prey. Clarification on SIch

I asked about the meaning of SIch on the Facebook Learn Klingon group, and there was significant disagreement. So, I asked for clarification from the source. This is a repost of the information I received for the benefit of the listhost: Clarification on SIch from Dr. Okrand, via email, received April 8 I wrote: "TKD lists SIch as "reach." Can you clarify if that is about a) arriving to a destination or b) grasping toward something?" He replied: "You're right — the definition of {SIch} in TKD isn't all that helpful. The intended meaning is (b), as in {paqvetlh DaSIchlaH'a'?} — maybe the book's on a high shelf. Or {paq vISIch 'e' vInID}, which could be translated "I reached for the book. The (a) meaning is covered by {paw}." Expressing "painted with his blood"

When the the verb DIj "paint with a pigment stick" was explained, we learned that it can be used for producing a visual image, even if no paint or pigment stick is involved, for example with a pencil, or with a device or computer software. Assume we want to say: "while the injured commander was dying, he drew on the ground with his blood, the location of enemy ship". How would we write it ? Would the following be correct ? {jagh Duj Daq cha'meH la', yav DIjta'; DIjmeH 'IwDaj lo'ta'} "the commander, in order to show the location of the enemy ship, painted the ground; in order to paint he used his blood" Now, because I *know* someone is itching to say "you don't paint the location of the enemy ship".. This is an example used to ask, how we actually specify, "the what is being used to draw something". So, there is no actual need for someone trying to be smart, saying crap like "the commander would just say the location instead of painting it". ~ m. qunen'oS ironic.. trying to appear smart, yet proving to be the idiot..

A hell of a coincidence..

I never take part in discussion about puns, because (as strange as it seems) for me, learning the pun of a word, takes the "alien mystery" out of it. However, there is this coincidence (?), which caught my eye, for quite some time now. Satan is described in many ways.. Among them is "fallen", and the other is "accuser". Taken from wikipedia: ..The original Hebrew <https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew> term *sâtan* (Hebrew <https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_language>: שָּׂטָן‎) is a generic noun meaning "accuser" or "adversary"..
