The need (not) to express "once more".

I was thinking of darth Sidious' phrase: "once more the Sith will rule the galaxy", and I was wondering, how to say it in Klingon. At first, I thought of saying something like {wa'logh, qIb luche'qa' sithpu'}, but the way I understand it, this means "one time, the sith will rule again the galaxy", i.e. they will rule it again but only one time (whatever this actually means). Until I realized, that the original meaning of the phrase, is expressed just fine by just writing {qIb luche'qa' sithpu'}; and that's it. Do you agree with the above, or does anyone have any other/better suggestions ? ~ m. qunen'oS I find missing lunch disturbing

How "pure" is Ca'NoN ?

Can someone tell me, if the following scenario/sequence of events is possible ? 1. Subtitles are to be written for a star trek movie/series/episode/whatever.. Or klingon sentences are to be written for skybox cards/monopoly/or anything else.. 2. 'oqranD is given the english subtitles/sentences.. 3. He gives them back in klingon.. 4. And for whatever reasons, the english lines change AFTER okrand has done the translation. 5. So, we have the original klingon sentences, but with english translations which 'oqranD didn't have in mind while he was translating. And, finally, we become the a-holes, who worship as holy Ca'NoN, pairs of sentences (klingon-english), where the english ones were changed after 'oqranD had translated.. Can someone, put my mind at ease, telling me that this cannot be happening ? ~ m. qunen'oS I find impurities in ca'non disturbing

Skybox 1 has (among other sentences) the following phrase: {juHqo' Qo'noSvo' loghDaq lengtaHvIS tlhInganpu'} with the translation "..expansion of the klingon people from their homeworld of kronos into space.." Shouldn't the "from their homeworld of kronos" be given as {Qo'noS juHqo'vo'} instead of {juHqo' Qo'noSvo'} ? ~ m. qunen'oS I find irregularities in ca'non disturbing

Why not vay'pu'/vay'mey ?

In english you say "someone", and this word doesn't have a plural form i.e. "someones". On the other hand, in greek we do have the plural form of the word "someone", as we do have the plural form of "something". So, I can't bring myself to understanding what's wrong with saying vay'pu'/vay'mey. I'm not saying we should do it; I'm saying that I can't *feel* why it would be wrong. And ok; f*** greek and english too. Why wouldn't you understand the meaning of vay'pu' or vay'mey, regardless of your native language ? ~ m. qunen'oS Ca'NoN holy Ca'NoN

Klingon Monopoly has the sentence: {QaptaHvIS So'wI', Hoch jagh Dujmey DaQotlh} disable all enemy ships while cloaked First question: Does anyone disagree, that instead of Da- there should be tI- ? Second question.. How exactly is the {Hoch jagh Dujmey} to be interpreted ? (Hoch jagh) Dujmey the ships of each enemy or Hoch (jagh Dujmey) all the enemy ships or Hoch (jagh) Dujmey all the ships of the enemy (with the Hoch, referring to the Dujmey instead of jagh) Is there a way of knowing, which of the three is the correct interpretation ?
