e Some time ago I saw this drawing. There was the drawing of a dog's head, and below the drawing of a cat's head. Each animals brain was sectioned into distinct areas. The dog's brain had the following 10 parts: 1. be a true friend 2. be loyal 3. protect the family 4. play with the kids 5. care 6. accompany 7. love 8. be responsible 9. be happy 10. guard At the cat's brain were the following 3 sections: 1. eat 2. sleep 3. murder And the rest of the cat's brain had a big question mark.. hahaha t 'op ret wa' mIllogh vIleghpu'. pa' ngavyaw' nach tu', 'ej bIngDaq vIghro' nach tu'lu'. Sorry for asking again about *-'e'* as topic

Although this question has to do with my last text, I want to ask a bit more generally, so I thought it's better to post it in a new thread. I know the use of *-'e'* as topic (except in copulas and superlatives) is problematic. I just want to know if I have understood what's right and what's not. In my text I wanted to say: *It will be Christmas soon. As for Spain, we decorate our homes between December 6th and 8th*. I understand now this sentence is too long and I shouldn't try to use a topic here. But then we have the example *cheng'e' DaH Sam!* and in the PB, at the beginning, the sentences with *DaH tIQoy*. So my question is: if the sentence structure is simple, could I use *-'e'* as topic? For example: *Soj'e' tIr ngogh wIje'nIS* (*As for the food, we need to buy bread*) Thank you and sorry for asking so much!

If the conjunction in a noun-noun construction comes at the end, the resulting expression is ambiguous, right? *be' loD je paq* - *the book of the woman and the man* *be' paq, juH qach je* - *the book and the house of the woman* or *the book of the woman and the house* I suppose context will clarify and, if not, we could say something like *be' paq, juH qachDaj je* (*the book of the woman and her house*). But what about *'op* or *Hoch*? In my last text I wanted to say *Some organizations, shops and churchs*. I think in English like in Spanish or German you would probably understand that I mean *Some organizations, some shops and some churchs*, but if I say: *'op DIvI', malja', chIrgh je*, does it also work in Klingon or must I repeat *'op*: *'op DIvI', 'op malja', 'op chIrgh je*? Thank you!
