Beginner question: Imperatives directed at first person plural

When listing the imperative verbal prefixes for the singular and plural second person, TKD mentions that imperative prefixes are not used to express e.g. “let’s go”, but does not offer any guidance on how to command a first person plural group to do something. Is there any canon guidance or non-canon consensus on this?

New pIqaD font and transliteration tool

I have released the pIqaD typeface that I previously mentioned on this list as a TrueType font. I’ve also refined the transliteration tool I previously mentioned on this list: it now uses the above mentioned font (even if you don’t have it installed on your system) and has a few other new features, including displaying a random quote when loaded. (If the quotes look “off”, that’s probably intentional: I corrupted some well known sayings on purpose, with the intent of keeping them grammatical, if somewhat nonsensical. Please let me know if any of those quotes have strayed into ungrammaticalness.) Writing continuously in irrealis

There is a problem I've been having, which I don't know how to overcome. If I want to write a story in english, a story written in irrealis (if that's how we say it), then I can write: "If I was a giant, and I was living in a castle above the clouds, I would be happy. And if my kingdom had many soft and furry cats.." In klingon, in order to write something as the above, we have the {net jalchugh}. However, (and here is my problem), if I want to write an entire story in irrealis, then what do I do ? Do I place the {net jalchugh} after each and every sentence ? In the above example would I need to write {I am a giant net jalchugh, and I live in a castle above the clouds net jalchugh, I am happy net jalchugh..} ? Wouldn't this make the reader "tired", reading the {net jalchugh} after each and every sentence ? Is there any other way of approaching this ? ~ nI'ghma

where the {'e'} of a sao refers

There is something I've been wondering for quite some time. A sao has the form {sentence 'e' verb}, with the {'e'} referring to the {sentence}. If we write {vIghro' vIje' 'e' Dalegh}, then this means "you saw that I fed the cat". But what happens, when before the {'e'} we have two joined sentences ? Suppose we write {vIghro' vIje' 'ej chab wIvut 'e' Dalegh}. Where does the {'e'} refer now ? Does it refer to the entire {vIghro' vIje' 'ej chab wIvut}, or does it only refer to the {chab wIvut} ? Does the {vIghro' vIje' 'ej chab wIvut 'e' Dalegh} mean: "I fed the cat, and you saw that we baked the pie", or does it mean "You saw that I fed the cat and that we baked the pie" ? Or does it mean both ? ~ nI'ghma

The word {retlaw} reminded me of the Emperor Reclaw, so I wanted to look up if the name had ever been printed in the original Klingon. I discovered that the novel "The Left Hand of Destiny" contains the following text: SuvwI''a' ghaH reQlaw'e' (For Reclaw was a mighty warrior,) qu' qabDaj; jev 'e' rur (Terrible as thunder,) nom vIHchu'; Hov tIH rur (Swift as starlight,) jupDajvaD yoHbej ghaH (Stalwart to his friends) jaghDajvaD Heghna' ghaH (And DEATH to his enemies...)
