en *Polybotes* - According to Apollodorus, he was crushed under Nisyros, a piece of the island of Kos broken off and thrown by Poseidon. He is named on two sixth century BC pots, on one (Getty 81.AE.211) he is opposed by Zeus, on the other (Louvre E732) he is opposed by Poseidon carrying Nisyros on his shoulder. *Porphyrion* - According to Apollodorus, he was (along with Alcyoneus), the greatest of the Giants. He attacked Heracles and Hera but Zeus "smote him with a thunderbolt, and Hercules shot him dead with an arrow". According to Pindar, who calls him "king of the Giants", he was slain by an arrow from the bow of Apollo. He is named on a late fifth century BC cup from Vulci (Berlin F2531), where he is battling with Zeus. There's the {maS'e' loQ So'be'bogh QIb} for the meaning of "crescent moon". In this construction however, I can't understand the rationale (*if* there's one to start with..), as a result of which the {maS'e'} precedes the {loQ}. Since a {-bogh} phrase is essentially a baby-sentence, it follows the rules of the grown-up sentences; in tkd we read: "The adverbial may actually follow the object noun (but still precede the verb) when the object noun is topicalized by means of the noun suffix {-'e'}". And then it proceeds by the example of {HaqwI' 'e' DaH yISam} "Find the SURGEON now!" As a result of this example, I was under the impression that the "adverbial following the object noun" is something usually taking place in cases of emergency/distress. But what's the emergency/distress in a moon that is crescent? ~ Dana'an

On/in/at SkyBox 3 there's the following: 'ejyo' luch rurbe'qu' tlhIngan Duj luch. Klingon starship design is vastly different from Starfleet technology. A huge amount of the ship's power and technology is devoted to its weapons grid and defensive systems. Unlike most Starfleet vessels, the main viewer on a Klingon ship is usually overlaid with a complex target acquisition grid. (I wrote on/in/at, since I have no idea what the jay' SkyBox 3 is, nor do I give a crap to find out either). Anyways.. If I understand this Ca'Non sentence correctly, the {ray' luSamlaHmeH De' Qatlh} is a construction where there's the {-meH}'ed noun of {luSamlaHmeH De' Qatlh} with the {De' Qatlh} being meant as "difficult/complex informations", and in turn, the {luSamlaHmeH De' Qatlh} has as its' object the {ray'}. If the way I understand this is correct, then this shows that a {-meH}'ed noun can take an object, and that the {De'} "data, information" can be pluralized. ~ Dana'an one day Apollo will return to stay forever

je "too" referring to the type-5'ed noun

Sometime ago, I was wondering whether the {je} "too" can refer to the type-5'ed noun of the sentence, in the following way: juHDaq jIvum je I work at the house too Today, I accidentally read the following paq'batlh sentence, which as darth Sidious would say, was "a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one": chalqachDaq bIQaDbe' je even in a tower you are not safe I think this sentence shows that the {je} "too" *can* indeed refer to the type-5'ed noun of the sentence too. I know that the translation is given as "even.." instead of "at a tower you aren't safe too", but obviously this is just a matter of choice of words. The only way I can understand it is "in a tower you aren't safe too", i.e. "among the various places where you aren't safe, is a tower too". ~ Dana'an one day Apollo will return to stay forever
