Sweat

Is there anywhere in ca'non any reference that klingons don't sweat ? I know that they don't cry, but don't they sweat ? I'm writing this, because I'm surprised (not pleasantly), that we don't have a word for "sweat" (noun, or verb). Anyways, I think this would be a good word to ask for, in the coming qepHom. mayqel q

Sometime ago, when I asked whether {ghelwI'} could be understood as "question", I was told that the answer is "no", since the meaning would be "asker", and not "question".. maj. At star trek discovery, there is the sentence: {buQwI'vam 'omlu'meH wa' mIw tu'lu'} there is one way to confront this threat Can someone explain, why {buQwI'} means "threat", and not "threatener" ? Now, don't get me wrong.. I am convinced that {ghelwI'} is "asker" and not "question". And I'm grateful to the people who explained to me what was going on. But there is no way, I will swallow, that {buQwI'} means "threat". mayqel q

qepHom grammar questions

It is highly unlikely, that a mere mortal -i.e. someone who isn't a friend of maltz-, would ask and his question would be answered.. However, since even us -the little people-, are allowed to dream, I would like to ask that these questions are eventually clarified at the qepHom to come.. 1. the prefix of a verb, which follows {joq}, if both nouns joined by it are singular. 2. the prefix of a verb, which follows {joq}, if one of the nouns is plural. 3. the {ngIq}. 4. the {vabDot} (although I'm not quite certain, that the clarification needed here, is with regards to the grammar, or its meaning). 5. {Duj wejwIjDIch} or {DujwIj wejDIch} ? 6. Can we have two {qu'} or two {be'} on the same word ? mayqel q

Verbs which contain for, about, etc

There are some verbs, which contain the concept of "for, about, etc". For example {SaH} "care about, be concerned about". And we have said, that when we are using these verbs, we don't place an additional {-vaD} on the word, which would take a {-vaD}, if the "for, about, etc" concept wasn't included in the verb. For example, we say {romuluSngan vISaHbe'} and not {romuluSnganvaD vISaHbe'}. But I need to ask.. If we did write {romuluSnganvaD vISaHbe'}, would that be wrong ? And in case someone wonders why I'm asking.. In cases where I wanted to say "I gave to myself a present", since there is no prefix for "me-myself", I wrote {qunnoqvaD nob vInob}. But if I want to say "we care only for us", and I want to write {maHvaD neH maSaH}, I stumble upon the fact that the concept of {-vaD} is already included in the {SaH}. So, because of this reason I ask, "can we use a {-vaD} with verbs such as {SaH} ?" Can I write {maHvaD neH maSaH} ? mayqel q
