adjectives bearing the {-be'}

I know that we aren't supposed to write "I read (whatever) at boQwI'", but I have to write it, because there I read that.. "the {-be'} can be applied to verbs used as adjectives". However, I have trouble understanding the meaning that the "noun-be verb-{-be'}" would then have. If I write {veng tInqu'Daq} then obviously this means "at the very big city". But if I write {veng tInbe'Daq}, then what would this mean ? "at the not big city" ? or maybe "at the city which isn't big ?". qunnoq

The problem with pIqaD

For quite some time now, I have been meaning to learn the pIqaD for no other specific reason rather than the fact that it looks pretty cool. But there is a problem which takes the fun away. The pIqaD as it is given has each letter written in a line of varied thickness. But if you try and write it with a pen/pencil, the line would be of the same thickness throughout the whole character. With the unfortunate result being that after one will have endured the pain of learning it, he will be left with something which doesn't look as cool as the original. This makes me wonder why it was given with lines of varying thickness in the first place. qunnoq

The meaning of {ngoy'}

There is the canon example which says that "the family of a klingon warrior is responsible..". However I was wondering whether it could have the additional positive meaning of {reH vum yaSvetlh. ngoy'qu'} for "That officer is always working. He is very responsible". Or maybe even the additional negative meaning of {reH Qong yaSvetlh. ngoy'Ha'} for "That officer is always sleeping. He is irresponsible". qunnoq
