There is something I realized only recently, which I would like to discuss just to make certain. In english we can say, "In order to buy this ancient cat, we paid ten thousand euros" (and because someone had protested that no cat costs as much, I remind you that this cat is ancient..) Anyways.. I recently realized, that if I write in klingon {vIghro'vam tIQ wIje'meH wa'netlh euros DIDIlta'}, then this likely means, that "in order to buy this ancient cat, we paid the ten thousand euros" i.e. "in order to buy this ancient cat we gave money to the ten thousand euros" Is this correct, or can we indeed say {vIghro'vam tIQ wIje'meH wa'netlh euros DIDIlta'} to mean "In order to buy this ancient cat, we paid ten thousand euros" ? ~ changan qIj

Da is defined as "behave as, act in the manner of". Does this mean that it necessarily needs to take an object ? Can we say for instance, {choQaHmeH chay' jIDanIS ?} "in order that you help me, how do I need to behave ?" ~ changan qIj

If we say: {tlhInganpu' romuluSnganpu' chevchuqmoH qeylIS} Then does this mean that "kahless separates the klingons from the romulans" ? Or does it mean that: "There is a group of klingons and romulans, kahless takes this group, and causes each member (regardless whether he's a klingon or romulan), to separate the other member (regardless whether he's a klingon or romulan)" ? And don't axe me, what "causes each member to separate the other" actually means, because I don't know. ~ changan qIj

To -choH, to -'eghmoH, or to nothing ?

In imperatives, sometimes we see in Ca'NoN {-'eghmoH}, and sometimes we see {-choH}. For example: {yItam'eghmoH} or {yItamchoH}. I don't know, if there is a Ca'NoN example of using just the verb, e.g. {yItam}, but regardless whether there is indeed such a case or not, I wonder.. Should anyone choose whatever he likes ? Is there something of the three (-'eghmoH, - choH, or none at all), one should necessarily use in an imperative ? Or do we just use the Force ? ~ changan qIj
