I just saw (don't ask me where), that in Saarbrücken qepHom'a' 2015, in order to express "when I was X years old" the construction is : {qaStaHvIS DISwIj javDIch..} for "when I was six years old". Was there anything else said at that qepHom'a', with regards to the "expressing age" subject ? mop Hurgh

I have a picture of a color chart. The left side is for females, listing something like 30 - 50 colors; the various shades of blue, the various greens, and such. The right side is for men; has only 7 or 8 colors. Royal blue, aqua, teal, cyan (and others) = blue. I'll say "It is blue", but the wife will try to correct me and give some fancy girlie term specifying a particular shade of blue. Klingon just takes it a little further. Doq, SuD. New word: cheS

>From MO; July 3, 2016 There is already a word that can be used for "owl." It's {lIr}, which is some sort of Klingon nocturnal bird. So an own on Earth would be a {tera' lIr}... or just {lIr}. For "bunny"... There's a Klingon animal that's sort of like a rabbit called a {cheS}. So a rabbit on Earth would be, I guess, a {tera' cheS}, though, in context, {cheS} is good enough. And a "bunny," I supposed is a {cheSHom} or maybe {cheSoy}. {cheS} is a word no one besides you and me and Maltz knows about...yet.
