Adjectival use of {meQ}
First of all, remember that {meQ} is given as "burn". Now, read the Ca'Non sentence, from CK: {Ha'DIbaHmey meQ Sop 'e' tIv tera'nganpu'}. Unfortunately, I don't have the Ca'Non translation.. But, aside the obvious omission of the {lu-} from the {tIv}, let me ask you.. Can I use this Ca'Non sentence, as all the excuse I could ever need, to take {meQ}, and use adjectivally, like there's no tomorrow ? ~ m. qunen'oS let the Ca'Non flow through you

It's excuse enough to say, "It looks like a related homograph meaning /be burned,/ so unless something come along otherwise to make me doubt that, I'll use it that way." That is, go ahead and use it with the understanding that it's on probation. -- SuStel http://trimboli.name

Maybe there's a comma or missing conjunction between {meQ} and {Sop}. {Ha'DIbaHmey meQ ['ej] Sop 'e' [lu]tIv tera'nganpu'} "Terrans enjoy burning and eating animals." -- De'vID
