But, aside the obvious omission of the {lu-} from the {tIv}, let me ask you..

Can I use this Ca'Non sentence, as all the excuse I could ever need, to take {meQ}, and use adjectivally, like there's no tomorrow ?

It's excuse enough to say, "It looks like a related homograph meaning be burned, so unless something come along otherwise to make me doubt that, I'll use it that way."

That is, go ahead and use it with the understanding that it's on probation.
