Suppose we write: Qo'noSDaq Dujmey vIchenmoH je We know that this can mean: I (and others) build ships on kronos I build ships (and other things) on kronos I build ships on kronos, and do some other thing too (e.g. bake pies) But could it have this additional meaning too ? "I build ships on kronos too" Meaning, I build ships somewhere else, e.g. on earth, *and* on kronos too. ~ mayqel qunen'oS
Thinking this over, I think that indeed it could work given that context is clear. Assume the following dialogue.. - I'm in a hurry to get to my house - Why ? - Because I need to work - Didn't you work at the office ? - HIja', 'a juHDaq jIvum je. I don't think, that there would be anything confusing in such a reply, or anything controversial in using the {je} "too" this way. ~ mayqel qunen'oS
