It's a Vulcan word, so this is just the Klingonization or Klingon pronunciation of it. It's not a native Klingon word. {lut mIr} n. series (of stories, movies, etc.) {tlhamchem} n. gravitational field {chut qeSwI'} n. lawyer {tlhapragh} n. monster {'anISyum} n. anicium (explosive) (not a Klingon thing) {yuryum} n. yurium (explosive) (not a Klingon thing) {rel} v. be delusional [expanded definition based on the same meaning] {mughbogh permey} n. subtitles [only if translation is implied. Not to be used for closed captions] {SanmIr} n. spore {but} v. be natural {pargh} v. be synthetic, artificial {'ol} v. verify, check if (something) is true, make sure that (something) is true {woq} v. confirm, substantiate, corroborate {Qoylu'taH} v. "the clock is ticking" (idiomatically). After a couple weeks of thinking about it, I think I may have found the pun. Bobby Pickett's classic novelty song "Monster Mash" was released in 1962 on Garpax Records. {tlhapragh} backwards is {gharpatlh}, which is almost a transliteration of "Garpax". I say "almost" because "x" is usually transliterated as {Q}, not {tlh}. Maybe Okrand wanted to mix it up a little. (Or it wasn't intended as a pun on "Garpax" at all, and I've just stumbled onto a tremendous coincidence.)
