De'vID just pointed me to a licensed necklace which uses a Klingon sentence written in pIqaD. Does anone know who provided that sentence, or if it was taken from any known translation? It is correctly translated and also correctly transcribed into pIqaD, which is a bit surprising. It is unusual that a designer has this much knowledge to do it so correct. For your interest, the pendant of the necklace says {tay'be'lu'chugh quvbe'lu'} "If one is not together, one is not honored." Grammatically, this is similar to the canon phrase from TKW p. 24: {pujwI' HIvlu'chugh quvbe'lu'} There is no honor in attacking the weak. More details on the Klingon Language wiki: klingon.wiki/En/Necklace -- Lieven L. Litaer aka the "Klingon Teacher from Germany" http://www.tlhInganHol.com

I think it's actually more like: {'oy'be'lu'chugh Qapbe'lu'} (TKW p.175) -- De'vID

Oh, yes. Thanks for mentioning that. You are right, and having this, it's even possible that the designer/translator simply changed one word, or made a mix of both. I hope we will find out soon. -- Lieven L. Litaer aka the "Klingon Teacher from Germany" http://www.tlhInganHol.com http://klingon.wiki/En/Necklace
