You seem to have become fond of the verb {veb} "be next (in a series, sequence)". I don't think it means what you want it to. The first example says "I always want to have a subsequent animal." It is talking about the next animal in a sequence of animals, but you're obviously trying to refer to an animal you are going to describe in the next sentence.
