hahaha ! Why not ? Some trick questions are for good ! Fun aside.. I just noticed on the top of some of the qepHom 2019 leaflet pages, klingon words written in capital letters only. For example QEPHOM instead of qepHom, QAV instead of Qav.. I wonder in case 'oqranD saw this, whether this could mean, that we *could* write klingon in all caps. Of course, someone could ask "why would you want that ?". ..Which would lead to me saying that: "It's not whether I want it or not; it's rather, whether it's possible". Let alone the fact, that writing in all caps, could be used to express shouting. ~ mayqel qunen'oS

While it’s not as common as {Q/q}, there’s also {ngh/ngH}. At least we don’t have to worry about {tlh/tlH}, since Klingon never has a three-consonant cluster… though without the serif, I guess that the noun for “My dear spear tipikins” might be mistaken for the adverb “too much”… Nope. Whether you stuck to uppercase or lowercase, “L” would be distinguishable from “i”… [tardy tangent alert] Meanwhile, the language already has things that are ambiguous, like {DataHmoH}. Is the {Da-} a verb or a prefix? Is the {-taH} a suffix or a verb? But that’s an ambiguity that is part of the language. Losing the difference in case is creating ambiguity in the human notation of spoken Klingon that isn’t in the language itself, since the romanized alphabet is merely a phonetic alphabet, different from pIqaD, which doesn’t have this little problem. So, basically, nobody will stop you from writing in all uppercase, but doing it improves the odds that you’ll be misunderstood. Okay. So answering your question: Okrand has seen the booklet.

But...

He did NOT say anything about those titles.

I just did that using a fancy font just for layout resons, knowing that it looks very strange.

I generally tell people to NOT write Klingon in all upper case, and also not using a font that uses small caps, because that's also very annyoing to read.

Possible...? Of course it's "possible". And as long as you don't encounter q/Q problems, there is no reason why it should not work.

But remember that if you start a discussion about writing all upper case, it's bascially the same discussion of writing all lower case: People will argue that it's not what is described in TKD.

compare TLHINGAN MAH TAHJAJ and tlhingan mah tahjaj, which should be {tlhIngan maH taHjaj}.

My suggestion still is: Don't writing Klingon in upper case.
