Howdy, Aurélie! Great to meet you! And I'm glad you're aware of the KLBC tag! First off, wow! For a month of practice, your Klingon is /great!/ I bet it is because you are an experienced translator and language learner! A few little pointers: 1) I think we usually use the verb {Dab} for "to inhabit" a country, so: vIraS vIDab. But what you wrote isn't grammatically incorrect. 2) {-ghach} can be tricky, and some warn beginners to avoid it entirely. In any case it is used infrequently. Except with {-wI'}, Klingon generally avoids turning its verbs into nouns. So, you're better off framing that idea as: jarvam tlhIngan Hol vIHaD 'e' vItaghta'. OR jajvam tlhIngan Hol vIHaDchoH! If you stick with {-ghach}, it requires that at least one suffix comes between it and the verb -- the most often-given example is {naDHa’ghach}, "discommendation." 3) I'm a little unsure about your {wej} at the beginning of the sentence about movies and shows. Maybe someone else can comment whether that strikes them as strange placement. But this is all tiny tiny tiny stuff! I say just keep doing what you're doing to study and you'll get far, fast! tlhIngan Hol DajatlhlaHqu' SoH! majQa'! Welcome to the community! Hello all,
I started studying Klingon earlier this month and I've been on this list for a few days now, so I thought I'd write a short introduction to put the language into practice and "e-meet" my fellow Klingonists at the same time.
Here goes:

It's the 1st time I write anything in Klingon, very likely I've made grammar mistakes or wrong choices of words, so any corrections or suggestions of improvement are welcome!
With thanks,
Aurélie
