"apathy" SeHHa'ghach ("disinterest") [sic for SaHHa'ghach] (what is the sic ?)
"sic" is Latin and means "like that, thus, so"; it is used in English to mark a mistake in a quote, to show that the mistake was in the original which is being quoted verbatim, and that the error is not due to a miscopying or misquoting. So here it means that Marc said {SeHHa'ghach} but that this seems to be a mistake and should be emended to {SaHHa'ghach}, given the translation "disinterest" attached to it. Cheers, Philip
