There is a form of steel doped with vanadium. Helmet steel. It saved a lot of lives during WWI and WWII.The local steelworks near where I live used to make vanadium steel. I agree that most elements are not useful in the sense of needing them often, but I would wish the entire periodic system to be available in Klingon, just for completeness.
