A lot of more specialized vocabulary this time around, but it's good to>have more words. So far, the puns are a little harder than usual though... Agreed. Although people often mention "having a Y chromosome" or "having two X chromosomes", the only times I can think of that I've used "vanadium" are when I was reciting the first thirty elements of the periodic table by heart. I just figured out two more puns: Sevral (pus): The word *puS* means "several" in Klingon.jinbo' (bias): From all the talk about the systemic bias behind the Wikipedia project

I agree that most elements are not useful in the sense of needing them often, but I would wish the entire periodic system to be available in Klingon, just for completeness. There’s a Gilbert and Sullivan song that became a Tom Lehrer parody that would be wonderful in Klingon, if we ever get the entire periodic table. charghwI’ ‘utlh (ghaH, ghaH, -Daj)

There is a form of steel doped with vanadium. Helmet steel. It saved a lot of lives during WWI and WWII.The local steelworks near where I live used to make vanadium steel. I think its cool we have a word for 'phase' as in electrical phase. Someday, maybe I will teach AC electronics in Klingon....
