A few puns have immediately stuck out at me: Daw (blow, of the wind): blow down? gha'naD (fodder): "Hello mudduh, hello fadduh/Here I am at Camp Granada . . ." ghIp'IS (friction): where the GRIP IS HapmaH (pea): Having to "pee" is a "wee matter". la'rut'an (mica): "Natural" backwards. Maybe because mica is a natural substance, maybe because Micah Papp (better known as Manny the Hippie) went all "natural". mo'bIj (latch): Jibboom backwards. ngit (ride, as in a bicycle/motorcycle): Cycling helps you stay "fit"! A xifan pun, with f->ng. ro'leSlib (barnacle): Bill, sailor -- Barnacle Bill the Sailor. My own prediction, *bIlbernaD*, wasn't far off. roq (be fragile, delicate, flimsy): From "bROKen". 'a'baqa' (file, dossier, portfolio): Manila folders were traditionally made of abaca', a zingiberaceous plant also known as Manila hemp. 'achme (anvil): Anvils on Looney Toons (and Animaniacs) were always made by the corporation knwn as Acme. C->ch is a perfect match in xifan. 'aghnIDnem (fuse): "Mending a fuse", as the Beatles song goes.
