There's a candy, popular in the US*, called "Pez". It takes the form of small, sugary tablets that are sold in a little plastic tube with a mechanism at the top allowing you to eject a single tablet, which is referred to as a "Pez Dispenser". I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they never made it to Germany.
