An adverb describes the verb, right ? If I say {pIj qalegh}, then the adverb "often" describes the verb. How do I see you ? Often.
But how does the {vaj} describe a verb ? To me it *feels* more as a conjuction, than an adverb.

It describes the verb as being an effect, the result of another action. In your previous message you had, "{vaj, pa'vo' mej} "so, he left the room". What is that the result of? paw 'avwI', vaj pa'vo' mej "The guard arrived, so he left the room." - DloraH
