Alright, I did say that I wanted to make a packet -- which I guess implies photocopy-publishing of a sort -- but I mean to make this for casual educational purposes. As for the KLI's continued inaction regarding publishing {nuq bop bom}, I think that is a terrible shame. In my personal opinion we should be pushing to first renew and then to renegotiate our (former) license so that we can publish new works. The current (and undemocratically arrived-upon) policy of ignoring the problem is hampering the development of our literature. That's a certainly a very good idea - for your own practice.
but a) it may be diffucult or even impossible to publish a transaltaion of an existing book. You may get licence problems.
and b) even if you'd make up your own child stories, somebody might object on you publishing it. That has happened before with a very nice and very large tlhIngan hol story...
