Note that these pictures appear to have come before anybody (presumably Qov, or perhaps ghunchu'wI') had a chance to correct it; the artist appears to have attempted to get the language right, but presumably it wasn't a priority for the concept art. There is one correct phrase on the DarSeq coins (which had presumably already been translated for an earlier episode): DaH Suto'vo'qor vIjaH 'ach 'opleS jIchegh 'e' vIlay' as well as many words that make sense, but then there are some phrases like *Qo' juS* nad *ratlh tlhIngan* that suggest Bingon / word-by-word translation. So, if anybody's planning to make replicas, they may want to see how they ended up in the actual episode. The game was apparently originally named *tS'ang* or *t'Sang*, and named after graphic designed Andy Tsang. https://twitter.com/startrekchina/status/1094403016189505536 Presumably, they asked Qov/ghunchu'wI' if that worked, and were told that {tISang} fit the syllable structure better and also meant something in Klingon. //loghaD ________________________________________ From: tlhIngan-Hol <tlhingan-hol-bounces@lists.kli.org> on behalf of Lieven L.
