Klingon Word of the Day for Wednesday, July 12, 2017
Klingon word: joD Part of speech: verb Definition: stoop Source: TKD
AFAIK never used in a sentence. SEE ALSO: tor kneel (v) SIH bend (v) Sup jump (v) Qam stand (v) Hu' get up (v) One might use {joD} in the sense of "duck" or "dodge": (TKW 17): Poetry plays a prominent role in Klingon mating behavior. The female typically roars, throws heavy objects, and claws at her partner. The male reads love poetry and, as Worf put it, "ducks a lot". -- Voragh tlhIngan ghantoH pIn'a' Ca'Non Master of the Klingons
Possibly the inference from reading the word backwards? On Jul 12, 2017 2:37 PM, "Alan Anderson" <qunchuy@alcaco.net> wrote:

Is there a source for this expanded meaning?
