Actually you know what? jay' that, I don't need to know. I don't care to request anything. I mean even if I did request a couple of words, and they were granted, what actually happen? Either I'd have to suffer (again) some ridiculous pun, about some guy, unknown even to his own mother, and I'd have to pay homage to that nobody everytime I used the word in question.. Or I'd receive a construction like {Say'moHwI' tlhagh}, as if we're some kind of cavemen, having fell off from the sky, unable to find normal names for the simplest things. Or -even worst- the meaning of an existing word would be extended -again- to include even more concepts, making in the end impossible for the reader to understand what I want to say, unless I've written an entire diatribe on the matter, and the reader has taken the time to read it. So thanks but no thanks. It's not that easy of a thing to do; the mind automatically goes to the pun. It's hard to treat klingon as an alien language, when every time I read {lerup} I'm thinking of purell.. lieven:

Don't forget that even though it's a constructed language, it's constructed as an alien language. If those (fictive) aliens do not have the thing you ask the word for, there really just isn't any, and we need a strange construction.

The only rules I actually acknowledge as rules, are the rules of grammar. There's no rule stating that I need to worship every aspect of klingon, let alone kiss its' ass. And I believe, after having written my brains out in klingon, I've earned the right to have an opinion. It's people who haven't ever written (let alone translate something difficult) whose opinion is worthless. And it's people who look forward to the day when 'oqranD retires, so that they'll take over just to please their already overinflated ego, whose opinion is worthless. At least I respect 'oqranD, even if I don't like some of his choices.
