What else would you eat ramen in, except a Duq? And the proper way to eat ramen is to pull up a wet bunch of noodles and suck the noodles and broth in together real quick. I don't know exactly what actions qualify for 'ep, but it certainly seems like neither Sop nor tlhutlh to me. And if we say we Sop the ramen and tlhutlh the broth, then why can't eating chatlh be described similarly? Even in English the word used for the proper ingestion of ramen is not "eat", but rather "slurp". That is exactly the word I think of for 'ep.
