Example: {qatlh Suvbe' chaH?} "Why aren't they fighting?" {wa'maH wej.} "It's complicated." (idiom based on the old counting system)

{'otlhQeD} quantum mechanics, quantum theory {'otlhtej} (the corresponding scientist, someone who studies quantum mechanics)

Yes, that's right: The word {'otlhQeD} was mentioned by Okrand in an interview of 2014 (printed in the qepHom 2014 book) as "quantum theory / quantum mechanics" and then it appeared in a word list in 2015 as "quantum physics".

I’m guessing this is a reference to the {'otlhQeD} label being superimposed onto the book.

I'm talking about the fact that the year is a superposition of 2014 and 2015, and you don't which one it is until you measure it by looking. -- De'vID
