Klingon Word of the Day for Friday, December 16, 2016
Klingon word: rewve' Part of speech: noun Definition: air (everyday word) Source: qep'a' 23 [2016]
(qurgh, 9/16/2016): We asked for "air" as in the stuff around us that can be put into tanks. We got {rewve'} as the common term and {lay} as a technical term. We were not told the difference. (qep'a' 2016 via qurgh): It would be odd to say {lay vItlhuH} for "I breathe air", but it would be understood. SEE ALSO: muD atmosphere (n) chal sky (n) SuS wind (n) SIp gas (n) SeS steam (n) tlhuH breath (n) yInSIp oxygen (n) tlhuH breathe (v) N.B.
