Literally "arm-knee", the joke being that usually arms are primary over legs, so some Earth languages have words like "leg-elbow" for knees and "foot-fingers" for toes. Here, Klingon reverses this. This word reminds me of the German word for glove, namely "Handschuh" (lit., "hand-shoe"). Presumably Germans discovered shoes before they discovered gloves. -- De'vID
