KLINGON FOR THE GALACTIC TRAVELER (I'm reading from a Kindle app; I don't have a page number) tells us that a form of intentional ungrammaticality allows us to substitute various good/bad words for {law'} and {puS}. It's a long passage; I don't want to the whole thing here. You can say something like: SorDaq vIghro' vIleghbogh law' HoS chalDaq vIghro' vIleghbogh law' puj It means exactly the same thing as the standard form, but it's an acknowledged way of bending the rules. In various contexts it may or may not be considered appropriate language. You wouldn't use it in more formal contexts. On 11/22/2016 11:03 AM, mayqel qunenoS wrote:
ok, thanks.
now, going back to andre's suggestion I would like to ask: how can the {HoS} and {puj} express the "more" and "less" cats/birds ?

No. You've left out the {vIleghbogh}.

Perfectly understandable. One might question whether you see cats that are in a tree or you are in a tree when you see cats, and similarly for birds, but Okrand has said this sort of ambiguity exists in Klingon, and is comparable to English's "I shot an elephant in my pajamas."
In both your sentences so far, the {-'e'} has been allowed, but unnecessary.
Using words other than {law'} and {puS} in a comparison sentence is considered wordplay, not slang.

maj ! so now, lets take this a bit further.
SorDaq vIghro''e' vIleghbogh law' law', chalDaq bo'Degh'e' vIleghbogh law' puS.
what do you think of this ? same questions: does it makes sense ? is it grammatical ?

Yes, I understand it and would say it makes sense and is grammatical. Because {law' law'} is a bit weird, maybe you could use {HoS} and {puj} instead, but that would be considered slang.
