With ?{bIHvIpchugh}, you've hit on an interesting construction. I don't believe it works in this case (to me the sentence reads "But if they are excessively afraid to be, their hearts can stop") but I think it's worthy of discussion and should involve the Beginners' Grammarian. vaj vIrI'. ~mIp'av
