For a friend - How would one translate the title "War and Peace"? Not knowing Russian I don't know If {veS roj je} or {Qoj 'ej roj} is appropriate. (I do like the sound of the latter, though.)
The title in Russian is Война и мир, transliterated as "Voyna i mir". Google Translate gives a lot of useful information about the phrase. While the first word "voyna" can match either the verb {Qoj} or the noun {veS}, and the conjunction "i" can connect either nouns or verbs, the last word "mir" is only a noun. The most literal translation is thus {veS roj je}. -- ghunchu'wI'
