Here's the full quote of what Okrand wrote here in the introduction of
the qepHom booklet 2014:

I am sorry that I can’t be with you this year to learn, speak, and
(mostly) enjoy, but I salute you all.  I could say that I hope all of
you have a great qepHom, but I think that “hope” in this context is not
the right word. I know you will have a great qepHom. For those of you
who have been to a qepHom or two (or more) before, I’m glad you’re back.
