General Martok was kidnapped by the Dominion while he was hunting sabre bear on Kang's Summit in 2371 and replaced by a Changeling (DS9 "In Purgatory's Shadow"). “The sabre bear is at its most vicious when cornered with no means of escape.” (Martok to Sisko, DS9 “Blaze of Glory”).

(KGT 89f): if [the meat] is fresh, the "cook" may {pID} it, which involves coating it with herbed granulated cartilage (not necessarily from the same animal) mixed with some kind of {tIr} (grain) and doing very little else... Meat prepared in this way is sometimes described as {wamwI' Ha'DIbaH} ("hunter's meat"), but the specific animal name is usually used instead of the word {Ha'DIbaH} (meat); for example, {wamwI' mIl'oD} ("hunter's sabre bear").

mIl'oD ngeb teddy bear (n) (MKE)

(qepHom 2019): use {tlhut} ["be stuffed"] when filling something to achieve a shape or look (e.g. a teddy bear or a dead animal skin)
