AFAIK we have only one example (which doesn’t really help):

There’s also a note in HolQeD that you use {Saq} if a bird alights on the ground, {tlhot} if it lands on the water (cf. HQ 10.4:4).

The verb means "to land" or "to set down on the land" not "to land on", so it's most likely the first one:
