Source: HQ 8.1 Pun: "Pink Floyd" btw I pointed out the source the last time this entry came up (Oct. 19, 2013), and it hasn't been added. {chevwI' tlhoy'}, which lacked a source the last time it came up (Feb. 14, 2013) has the same source and is a synonym. -- De'vID
Klingon Word of the Day for Sunday, September 01, 2019 Klingon word: pIn tlhoy' Part of speech: noun Definition: territorial wall _______________________________________________ (st.klingon 12/7/1998): A wall which divides a territory into parts (such as the Berlin Wall) is also called a {tlhoy'}, even though neither side of it is the interior of a structure. On occasion, for clarity, such a wall is termed a {chevwI' tlhoy'} "separator wall") or a {pIn tlhoy'}, literally "boss wall," presumably dating back to a time when each subterritory had a specific person in charge.
