Re: [tlhIngan Hol] Klingon Word of the Day: renyarDaq
Mr. Boozer! Good to see you back with your WotD stuff! When the word *renyarDaq* was introduced, I had never heard of Noreen Renier and thought the *renyar* part was *rayner* backwards, as in J. B. "Rhine" plus "Zener" cards. How about *Qaqnel* for a psychic detective?

Klingon Word of the Day for Sunday, July 14, 2024 . Klingon word: renyarDaq Part of speech: noun Definition: psychic ability or abilities Source: qep'a' 30 [2023] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
AFAIK never used in a sentence.
(qep'a' 2023): For "ESP," {'erwI'Daq} is normally fine. The usual term for psychic ability (or abilities) in general is {renyarDaq}. The study >of parapsychology is {renyarDaq QeD}, but this is sometimes shortened to {DaqQeD}.
PUN: "This is likely a reference to Noreen Renier, an alleged psychic, just like {relleghDaq} is a reference to Uri Geller." (De'vID, 8/13/2023)
