joining 'Iv and nuq with je
Context: A klingon bird of prey, traveling in space, comes across the wreckage of an entire fleet; the captain of the bird of prey, amazed at the level of destruction he's witnessing, wonders "who and what destroyed this fleet?" He wonders "who" because he's unaware of the identity of the alien race who caused this damage, and he wonders "what" because he's unaware of the type of ships and weapons that were used. So he asks: QIHvam luqaSmoHpu' 'Iv nuq je? Is this correct? ~ Dana'an
I’d say yes, given that you could answer it with: QIHvam luqaSmoHpu’ Darth Vader Death Star je. Sent from my iPad

Yes, I think so too. I can't think of any rule that is broken; both {'Iv} and {nuq} are used in place of the nouns that are required for the answer, so all is good. I just wanted to make certain, thanks. ~ Dana'an
