Verbs which can take an object do not necessarily need to have one. Since a person is doubtly a place to reside at, I would interpret his phrase as "cause yourself to reside", without the same person being the object of the verb. (Setting aside any usage or meaning of the phrase.) A more daily usage phrase may be {yISop'eghmoH} "Cause yourself to eat".

Theoretically, yes. But in daily use, that interpretation does not make much sense. It's like those English phrases "Clean the car with your wife. - I don't know if she likes being drenched in soap water." Again, we have the problem of ambiguity-problem of the {-moH} suffix in combination with {-'egh}. -- Lieven L.
