expressing "gowron himself"
How do we say "gowron himself will pilot the ship"? I don't think that the {-'e'} is appropriate, since the way I understand this kind of "himself" isn't of the exclusive kind. (Or is it?) Nor do adding asterics as a means of emphasis seem to does the trick, since I don't want to say "it is GOWRON who will pilot the ship". So is there something else we could do? ~ Dana'an

*-'e'* has exactly the meaning you're looking for. In English, the /himself/ is called an emphatic pronoun or an intensive pronoun, and it has the effect of emphasizing that its antecedent noun is exclusive. I thought of using {'or}, although I don't know if it can apply for spaceships too. Perhaps {Duj raQ ghawran'e'}, although this would be limited to manually handling the ship. Or maybe {Degh SeH ghawran'e'} for "gowron himself will control the helm". ~ Dana'an
I think the problem here is that we don’t know enough about exactly what a Klingon does to pilot a spaceship. If you grab a joystick and tilt it around while stepping on pedals, {‘or} is probably fine, but if you verbally command a computer with an audio interface and there’s no physical interface, that might not be the right verb. Reminded about the new airliner from Boeing, designed for a crew of two: A man and a dog. A computer flies the plane.
