(qepHom 2024) DoywI' smuggler (general term) (n) qepHom 2024 (qepHom 2024, p. 38) : Q: Do I understand correctly that {Doy} can also be used with people, but {choy} is used only with people? So {loD vIDoy} and {loD vIchoy} can be used interchangeably? And based on this, I assume that {DoywI'} and {choywI'} are in the people who do this? MO: Correct on all of that. Of course, there's a difference in connotation: Using {Doy} when referring to people is probably always disparaging. You'd definitely use {choy} if, say, you're on my side and you're sneaking me out of the country for my protection. You might use either word if you were trafficking in people.
