I'm doing a search of the mailing list through the KLI archive, but ran into two problems. First, it ends at 2015 (because it migrated to a new server) with no clear location for later archives. Are these later archives searchable, and if so, where? Secondly, the search engine used for the archive doesn't accept words if they're too short or common. I realize this may be useful when ignoring common words like "and" but it severely hinders my ability to search short keywords. Does anyone know a way to bypass this? -ray'lI' DoS

Look at the bottom of mails coming from the new server:
On that page, the second line leads to the "tlhIngan-Hol Archives". These are located here: http://lists.kli.org/pipermail/tlhingan-hol-kli.org/ A non-official archive is found here, but it stopped archiving in June 2019 and I do not know who owns it: http://diswww.mit.edu/charon.MIT.EDU/ja'chuq/ -- Lieven L. Litaer aka the "Klingon Teacher from Germany" http://www.tlhInganHol.com http://klingon.wiki/En/EmailDiscussionForum

The page describing the Email Discussion Group on the KLI server has links to both the older and current archives. https://www.kli.org/activities/email-discussion-group/ The newer archives are indeed searchable.

As I understand it, the Sphider search utility indexes the messages, and short/common words are ignored when creating the index. I don't know any way to tell it to do a full-text search for words that aren't in the index. However, you can use Google to search the archives! For the pre-2015 messages, add site:kli.org/tlhIngan-Hol to the search terms. For example: site:kli.org/tlhIngan-Hol tetlhvo' -- ghunchu'wI'
