Hi there, a short note on new words that may appear in the Klingon subtitles of DSC. I know that some people do not like it when new words are being kept away from public. As I am currently working on the subtitling of the episodes of Netflix, and it's not entirely finished (even the filming of episode 15 has just been started), I cannot say which or how many new words might appear in the subtitles. Besides from the spoiler alert, I couldn't even publish the words ahead if I wanted, like it happened with the new words list at the qep'a', which contained Klingon words used in DSC. So please accept my apologies for letting these drip one by one or just nothing at all. A complete list of all new words found and/or created for the subtitling and other projects will be published summarized in the booklet of this year's qepHom on 16th of November 2017. -- Lieven L. Speaking for myself, I have no problem with being surprised by new words, provided we know the source. It's work on a television show still in production and not yet aired; it's only natural that there be secrets. I only take issue with half-explanations that raise more questions than they answer. Better to keep quiet and issue a statement like this one. jughuHmoHpu'mo' jIbel. -- SuStel http://trimboli.name
