I'd guess this leads to no result, but I think it may be an interesting discussion, unless we have a canon answer. Is gold yellow SuD or Doq? -- Lieven L. Litaer aka the "Klingon Teacher from Germany" http://www.klingonisch.de http://www.klingonwiki.net/En/Colors
Colors described as gold tend to contain less red than ones described as yellow, so I'd say it's quite firmly in the SuD. That being said, color perception and naming is tricky; two colors that contain very different light components can look similar enough that we rarely distinguish between them (such as violet and purple), so it's hard to say with certainty. //loghaD ________________________________________ From: tlhIngan-Hol <tlhingan-hol-bounces@lists.kli.org> on behalf of Lieven L. Yes, it's tricky indeed. Basically, the question would be: when does orange become yellow? (it's probably a problem in english too) Look at the yolk of an egg. Some are so orange they look like the fruit (the orange), so they are Doq, some are so bright they must be SuD. -- Lieven L.
