info from Maltz: audiovisual media
In answer to how to express "media", "video (visual recording)", and "audio (sound clip)". --- begin quote --- Maltz didn’t think that {much} was quite right for “media,” but he also wasn’t sure what was included in “media” – the phenomena of video/audio/etc. or a physical (or digital) video or audio tape or file. What about print? That is, does “media” mean “the press” (as in “freedom of the press”)? Does it include “newspaper/magazine”? A video (à la YouTube) could be a {HaSta ta} “visual display record.” The audio counterpart could be a {wab ta} “sound record.” --- end quote --- -- De'vID

In which case I suppose that if an app has a section "media" which gathers (links to) audio clips and video clips, the section might be called {tamey} "records" since both video and audio clips are apparently a kind of {ta}. -- Philip Newton <philip.newton@gmail.com>
