Himeji-jo is one of the most famous castles in the world. I'm sure Dr. Okrand has heard of it and it is very likely the inspiration for the new word.

There is a famous castle called Himeji-jo(Himeji castle) in Japan, perhaps this is relevant.
But does Okrand likes(knows) Japanese culture or history? It's difficult to imagine...
