You don’t just “love" a Klingon. You earn that love and prove that you’ve earned it.
Only a human would be so lazy as to sum up affection with “I really, really, really looooooooove you,” without proving it by explaining what you mean. That’s why there isn’t really a Klingon verb for “love”. Humans BUILT one out of {muS} because the really, really, really want to say how much they loooooooove you.
I mean, you guys actually expect to win over a woman without having to recite bad poetry or dodge any heavy objects.
