The other theory is that there is a word omitted in the title, which was originally {qamchIyDaq qaS 'uQ'a'}.

I've had it argued against me that the omitted word was after the full title, as in qamchIyDaq 'uQ'a' [Soplu'].

But I like Michael's speculation.
